Crashing issues

Post by MDewHead » Mon Nov 01, 2004 7:08 pm

I use 1.38 and I saw you guys released 2.0 so I decided I'd give it a go. Everything loads up fine but about a minute or two after I load my character I get kicked to server select, and I did this about 5 times before I just loaded 1.38 again. I thought there might be a conflict with mq2 but unloading that didn't help. I'm not running Mq2FPS on my Mq either.

Here's my sysinfo:

If you start MQ2 AFTER EQ then you will get booted to server select, whether you unload it later or not, because of EQPlayNice. MQ2FPS wouldnt affect getting dropped to server select. If you're running EQPlayNice separately, turn it off (support is built directly into WinEQ 2.0). All you have to do is have MQ2 loaded before you start EQ.

You can also disable EQPlayNice in WinEQ 2.0's EverQuest, General preferences.
