I'll do what I can, sorry for the delays. I have been a bit busy recently

do not worry too much about the delays :p
as long as i can still use winEQ 1.xx or even only EQPN, that's ok.

anyhow, i changed something today, i reinstalled my video drivers (since graphics were screwed on another game -GuildWars-) and the framerate is now ok.

but unfortunately, the keyboard is still buggy

I have a hunch on the keyboard issue and have updated the keyboard handling that should apply to you for next release

*shameless bump*

i've been out for some days.
i see you released WinEQ 2.xx, grats =)

nonetheless, i've tested it with EQ and unfortunately, the keyboard does not answer properly, starting from the char select screen.

do you have any hint ?

I will continue to work on this as long as it is a reported issue. Thanks for the note, I'll keep working on it.

I added a hidden option in 2.02 which is probably going to be released tomorrow. When you update to that version, open WinEQ-EQ.ini and under "General" make a new line "InputDebug=1". What this will do is when you hit a key, it will pop up text on the screen, showing the name of the key pressed and its virtual key code. I will want you to press keys and let me know what happens -- if no text pops up, if text does pop up and what it says, etc.

latest release seems almost flawless =)
i just tried it, did not use the debug option yet.

i can use the keyboard now :D \o/

but i have one little issue here, when pressing the "!" key in game that should prompt a "/" but with winEQ i get "/!" automatically

I'll see if I can figure out why that happens
