EQ1 not starting

I have never been able to get WinEQ2 and everquest1 to work. I read the forums on looking for viruses ect. I did and came up with nothing. No virus/trojens, spyware ect on my system. Mind you i have 6 puters all the same setup and none worked.

Being virus savy and spyware NOT ! I have all the latest anti-BS installed. So I worked this problem backwards. I started uninstalling programs till Wineq2 and EQ1 worked.

This is were I realy was suprized ! It was not a virus but the software to prevent it that was stopping Wineq2 from running. namely Symatic system works 2003-04 (entreprize addition). I only removed this program on my other computers and up WinEQ2 and EQ1 came a running.

Lax , not sure if you have seen this before on a preventive program like symantic (spelling) but it was the problem..

Fixes ??
