eqgame.exe error crash while 3box rarely

Been getting a problem when 3boxing (think may have also happened 2boxing) where i alt+tab to another screen and all i get is a black screen. Normally this lasts for 15-30secs but every now and then the screen never fixes and i get an eqgame.exe error saying most close. During this time i can click buttons and move if i use my keyboard just i have a black screen. Anyways this has caused me to wipe a few times due to this error. If you want i'll post a log but i dont see anything intresting.

You can "fix" the black screen by hitting ALT+ENTER. The crash problem is caused by a device reset failure, but I dont know why the device would want to reset on its own unless you let a screensaver come up or something. Post SysInfo.txt from the WinEQ 2.0 directory if you'd like

hmm alt-enter, going to have to give that try next time.

You wouldn't happen to have an ati card would you? Because i got the latest drivers for ati radeon 9800, and i've been crashing Lots, by lots i mean at least once every 2-3hrs. I believe (just my guess) is that latest drivers was the culprit because ever since i have gotten it, i keep crashing.
