Geforce 6800GT with dual monitors

Post by in_training » Mon Nov 01, 2004 3:53 am

I am getting an oddity, in that I CANNOT move the 2nd client to the secondary display device. I've tried to set it to application controlled, primary, and secondary in the settings, but the client will not move. I like being able to see both clients, and playing with them overlapping gets on my nerves as well as causes the 2nd client to run at 4/40fps.

Here ya go Lax:

also, since the past 3 days, Whenever I bring up a 2nd client, I get a NV4_DSP.dll Blue-screen. I know it's not WinEQ, I am just wondering if you know what I might be able to do to stop this crap. I can't even play EQ with more then 1 character running.
The drivers I am using are forceware 66.81 WHQL. ANY Ideas at all would be highly appreciated.

The blue screen you get is the well-known issue with turning vertex shaders off. Turn them back on and you're set. I will have to put the warning in WinEQ 2.0.

I dont understand what is stopping you from moving the window? Select the secondary display, then move the window by dragging it or hit SHIFT+ALT+R

The specific dual monitor issue is being fixed in the next release. Full Screen is stuck on the primary display in the current release, and presets are absolute positioning instead of relative to the upper left corner of the desired display. These two issues are fixed in the next release. Tiles work correctly right now. You can use normal mode and hit shift+alt+r to force the window to the correct display for now.
