Excessive Lag

I have had a problem in the past with severe video lag, where it seemed everything was in slow motion. It was not happening when I played without eqpn, so I assumed that there was something about this software that was causing problems. There was a thread about it somewhere, and it appeared that there were problems with the 5200 series cards from Nvidia.

Well after the patch on 8/11, it appears that the new framerate bar is causing even worse problems for my game play. There was a thread about it on the eqlive forum, and although none of their tech support had addressed it, it appears that someone in the community found it to be related to the cool and quiet feature of the AMD 64. I couldn't find the setting in my bios as was suggested in that thread, but I did change the energy settings on my computer to desktop from energy star, and now it works like a champ.

Maybe this will help others that are having similar problems.
