We are shooting for late tonight, but the WinEQ 2.0 closed beta (subscribers only at this time) will proceed as planned. I am working on finishing up the preferences system, which may not be complete in time and could be omitted from the initial beta release.
This release will include most of the features of WinEQ 1.38, except for Picture-in-Picture, Tiling, Global Activation Hotkeys, Memory Indicator, EQPlayNice Integration, Command Line startup options, and a few minor things. These features will be available, probably next week, after the preferences system is completed. Things available in 1.38 that will not be making an appearance in 2.0 include the ability to change the vertex processing and rasterizing settings through WinEQ.
We hope you will find the WinEQ 2.0 experience to be more pleasant and user-friendly, and welcome your feedback.
Update 6pm EST: We are definitely on schedule to have WinEQ 2.0 closed beta out tonight. The preferences system will not be completed, but settings will be available by modifying the .ini files. Instructions for doing so will be given.
