Fury, Resellers and New Projects

Post by Lax » Wed Mar 16, 2005 4:00 pm

First of all, we have a relatively major update to Fury coming this week. It was planned for Monday, but other things came up that I had to take care of right away. This update is not a big update for the EQ1 and EQ2 plugins, though they receive some fixes and minor improvements. Further updates to the plugins will be coming, as will new plugins that are geared toward "offline" log parsing for the two games.

Next order of business, I have set up most of our Reseller system, which allows authorized resellers to purchase subscription time in bulk which can be transferred to their customers (who must be registered Lavish Software users). See the new Resellers page for further information.

Finally, after more work on Fury we will be revisiting WinEQ. Currently, WinEQ 2 is in a fairly stable condition and has not received a major update for months. There are, however, unresolved issues with WinEQ 2 that we would like to solve (for example, crashing when exiting World of Warcraft). We will do so by creating WinEQ 3, which will be built on the Inner Space core, but will have all of the ease of use that WinEQ 2 currently offers, and the customizability and game support of Inner Space. WinEQ 3 will be limited to subscribers (at least initially).
