EQPlayNice & EQ1 Test Server

"This version of EverQuest is not currently supported by EQPlayNice (this is typical on patch days). You may need to report this version information "v2 eqgame.exe Mar 5 2019 23:09:59" to Lavish Software (please do not report this message without giving the version info!)."

Alright, so I fixed it by having the batch launch the shortcut that is created by WinEQ2 instead of having it launch the instance in the same manner as WinEQ2 itself with the /plugin:WinEQ2-EQ.dll "Comment Here" line at the end of the target line.

Thanks a lot man. This'll be a huge help.

WinEQ 2 & User Access Control (UAC)

Is it possible to get a version that we can disable User Access Control pop-ups via "run as admin" check box under compatibility? That way I can use a bat file to launch my accounts without having to click through three UACs every time I launch my trio?

I believe that's not the case. TestEverQuest.exe to my knowledge is a launcher, and the test server now uses eqgame.exe. You can probably leave WinEQ's option at the default and just point it at the right folder I see. Yeah, I just changed it from Test to Normal and everything seems fine. Thanks fo...

Everquest 1 & TestEverquest.exe

It appears that a recent patch (haven't played in a while) broke WinEQ2 for the test server. Apparently SoE decided to change the executable from testeqgame.exe to TestEverquest.exe. You can see there's a testeqgame.exe.bak file next to the new executable. If you try to run WinEQ2 for Everquest 1 th...
