About Lavish Software, LLC
Lavish Software, LLC is a small business that entered the market in 2004, armed with a strong following of users of pre-existing products such as WinEQ and EQPlayNice. We provide cost effective solutions for PC gamers, particularly those that play Massively Multiplayer games such as EverQuest, EverQuest 2 and World of Warcraft. Our Gaming Tools products help with a wide variety of tasks, such as log parsing, window facilitation, video capture, CPU and FPS limiting, automation and information display.
Our Employees
Joe Thaler (Lax)
Joe has made a name for himself by providing EverQuest players with high quality open source software including MacroQuest 2, custom EQIM clients and EQPlayNice, as well as closed source software such as WinEQ and EQWatcher (which is evolving into Fury). Joe has been an avid gamer and passionate software developer for many years, starting with BASIC on the Commodore 64 at a ripe old age of ... about 6 or 7. 10 INPUT "HI WHAT IS YOUR AGE" might sound familiar to other 7 year old nerds. In the 1990s, Joe wrote relatively popular software for MUDs (for the MMO generation, these are the "old school" text-based multiplayer games) and was known to sell "scripts" to automate gameplay as well as related tools. In 2000, he got into EverQuest and has been developing EQ-related tools ever since, although he quit playing the game himself in 2003.

Dan Thaler (NinePointOh)
Dan is our new Business Director. He has a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in international relations, and is our new resident politician. Dan will be ensuring that our business continues to grow, and our users continue to enjoy our products and services.
